Activists gathered in the suburb of Evry in Paris, the capital of France, and organized a film event. At the end of the event, the young people protested the KDP with a statement.
The event, attended by about 40 young people, was held at the Evry Democratic Kurdish Community Center. The screening started with a moment of silence in memory of the revolutionary martyrs of Kurdistan
After the film screening, the young people organized a seminar with the political period on their agenda. This event, where debates were held about Kurdistan, Europe and the world was followed by a press-release by the young people.
The youth made a statement against the KDP, protesting the KDP’s advance from status as “traitor” to “enemy.”
The young people evaluated the military build up by KDP forces in the Media Defense Areas and highlighted that the KDP should only be in that area if they are fighting alongside the guerrillas against the common enemy which is the occupying Turkish state. Not vice-versa.
In their statement, the youth stated that the policies implemented by the KDP and the Barzani family served the interest of the enemies of the Kurdish people and not the Kurdish people themselves.
The youth invited the people of Kurdistan to take a patriotic stand against the lowly KDP.
